Funeral services for Tanya Michelle Jones Walker, 53, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, October 7, 2024, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, in West Monroe, Louisiana.  Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery, in West Monroe, Louisiana, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, in West Monroe, Louisiana.

Michelle was born to Thomas Jones and Sue Truelove, on November 9, 1970, in West Monroe, Louisiana and passed away peacefully on October 3, 2024, at St. Francis Medical Center, Monroe, Louisiana.  She was known by many in her life by her nickname, Peter Rabbit, given by her mother.  Michelle was a graduate of West Monroe High School and Northeast Louisiana University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.  At the time of her passing, Michelle worked for Bancroft Bag.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Doug Walker; daughter, Lauren Walker; father, Thomas Jones; mother, Sue Truelove; brother, Tom Jones and wife Stephanie; along with other cherished family and friends.

Michelle will be remembered for her smile and laughter and the love she had for her family and friends.  Michelle will be missed by everyone that entered her life.
