Funeral services for Sybile Crain, 78, of Monroe, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at New Light Baptist Church. J.C. Roberson and Rev. Lindle Stewart will officiate. Interment will follow at New Light Baptist Church Cemetery under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Monroe, Louisiana. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:00 A.M.

Sybile was born on January 7, 1946 in Holly Ridge and passed away on August 10, 2024 in Monroe. She was a member of New Light Baptist Church with a servant’s heart. She loved God, her grandchildren and her family. Sybile’s favorite pastimes were cooking, flowers, thrift stores, watching the Bold and the Beautiful, and rocking her Chihuahua puppies, Mamaw & Pawpaw. She loved listening to Elvis Presley but most of all she loved online shopping at Temu! Sybile was preceded in death by her husband, Devain Crain; parents, Sarah Ellen Evans and James C. Roberson; sons-in-law, Michael Roush and Thomas Arnold.

Sybile is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Wallace and Tammy Arnold; six grandchildren, Michael Roush, Candace Roush, John Arnold, Heather Arnold, Sara Arnold, Tanya Arnold; great-grandchildren, Breanna Standridge, Aydan McCoy, Braden Duncan, Thomas Arnold, Mason Roush, Samantha Arnold, Madison Duncan, Kaleb Duncan, Hadley Williams, Rhylee Peters, Michael Davis; siblings, James Roberson, Lois George, Ann Roberson, Sandra Roush, Roger Roberson and wife Sherrie, Lavelle Roberson and wife Deborah, Elvis Roberson and wife Angela, Nicky Weems and husband Ricky, Jimmy Roberson and wife Tracy; and many other cherished family and friends.

Pallbearers will be John Arnold, Thomas Arnold, Braden Duncan, Michael Davis, Casey Peters and Carson Ferguson
