Funeral services Mrs. Susie Alexandria Ward Ramsey, 86, of West Monroe will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, November 25, 2006, in the chapel of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe with Rev. Earl Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the New Chapel Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Mrs. Ramsey was born May 1, 1920, in Green County, Mississippi, and passed away November 22, 2006, in West Monroe, LA. A wonderful and loving mother and grandmother, Mrs. Ramsey was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Ramsey, a son and his wife, Robert and Eunice Ramsey, and a great grandson, Trey Foster. Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Lynda Prine and Mike Gabehart, her son and his wife, Charles and Charlotte Ramsey, and her son, Donald Ramsey; 10 grandchildren, Alex Ramsey, Shawn Wise, Melissa Williams, Doug Spillers, Kem Foster, Rusty Spillers, Calvin Ramsey, Phillip Ramsey, Marlon Ramsey, and Debra Ives; 11 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and her sister, Hilda Teekel. Mrs. Ramsey's grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be on Friday evening, November 24, 2006, from 5:00 to 7:00PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.
