Susan and I were classmates through senior year 1969. We were majorettes together and I loved her laugh. Our class was small but we all had fun togther and loved each other. God bless her family. With love, Beverly Hollis

Susan was such a sweet lady. She had the gift of encouragement and continued to reach out to our Sunday School class with cards and emails, even though we couldn't meet face to face this past year. She will be missed. Many prayers for her family and friends.

Susan made every person she met feel important. She cared greatly for others and gave of her time, talent, and resources to help people. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, utterly in love with her family. Susan's faith was evident and sincere, and when she said she would pray for you, she did. The staff and families of DART will miss her heart, her bright spirit, and her commitment to us all.

I just learned of Susan's death yesterday and I am saddened by this news. I have fond memories of playing with Don and Susan in the summertime when Susan would visit. I always thought she was so pretty. Please accept my sympathy and know that I am praying that our Heavenly Father will comfort you at this time and ease your grief. My love to the entire family, Gloria

Susan Boyettwas one of the most genuine and authentic people that I have ever known. Her compassion, her competency, and her Christ- like approach to life lifted all of us up each and every day.Her generosity to individuals as well as to organizations seemed almost limitless. Her devotion to helping victims of domestic abuse was only part of her generous heart. We worked together for more than 35 years and I personally know that she sought justice, loved mercy and walked humbly with God.We are all better for having her amongst us. She will be loved and remembered for the rest of our lives.

Theresa: We will be thinking about you and the family as you go through this hard time. It is NEVER easy losing a loved one, but sisters are hard...like moms. I love you so much and we pray that the Peace of God would just permeate your "whole" being!!!! Only a little time and knowing that she is in heaven can give you true peace. You will smile again...6 months from now you will do something or see something that will bring back a memory and a ... smile. Much love and Blessings on you my friend! Christy

My deepest sympathy to all of Susan's family. I enjoyed meeting Susan and our conversations these past years. She was such a genuine, caring person who shared our love for reading. She was so proud of Mayme, Gill, Georgia, and Breaux. Her humor and kindness enveloped everyone around her. Her love for family and friends was extensive. She will always be remembered and in our hearts.

Ms. Susan was one of the most genuine ladies I have had the privilege of knowing. She was like a second mama growing up with Mayme. I spent many nights under her roof and in her care. She was a joy to be around and made me laugh often. Her smiling face and warmest hugs will be missed greatly.
