Funeral services for Steven Sweet “Punkin” of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 6, 2022 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Earl Stuckey officiating. Steven served in the United States Marine Corp in Vietnam. He enjoyed the outdoors and riding his motorcycle. Steven was preceded in death by his parents Stannard and Gertrude Sweet.
Steven is survived by his wife Brenda Booth Sweet; daughter Angela Sweet; son Eric Sweet (Robin); grandchildren Chasity Garrison, Tyler Garrison (Christina), McKenzie Mims; brothers Fred Sweet (Sharon), and Edward Sweet (Marian); extended family and many friends.
Serving as pallbearers Marty Sweet, Corey Sweet, Danny Sweet, Bubba Bearden, Bryan Davidson and Ryan Davidson.
Serving as honorary pallbearers Mark Reed, Ralph Rizzo and Ralph Byrd.
