Skylar William Sepulvado, 26, of Monroe, LA went to be with his Heavenly Father on April 10, 2022. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Monroe, LA. There will be a time of visitation from 1:00-2:00 pm at the funeral home. The service will be officiated by Bro Barry Brister of Gateway Assembly of God in Sterlington, LA.
Skylar was born on December 18, 1995 in Monroe, LA to Todd and Michelle Sepulvado. Skylar enjoyed participating in sports, riding motorcycles and spending time with his family. He always had a joyful attitude and never met a stranger. He always gave a helping hand to anyone that he knew that was in need. He had a soul within him that people always saw his loving and caring heart, whenever anyone was around him. His sincerity and love for each person he met was a God given part of his life. He was always thinking of others before himself in everything he did. Eil, his son, shares his father’s attributes and was Skylar’s entire life from the moment he was born.
Skylar was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Glen Emerson. He is survived by his parents, Todd and Michelle Sepulvado of Camden, AR, his son, Elisha Sepulvado of Abbeville, LA; his sister Christina Colvin and husband, Christian of Monroe, LA; grandparents, Bonnie Emerson of Vivian, LA, Renee Rousseau of Monroe, LA, and Don and Billie Sepulvado of Natchitoches, LA; his Uncle Robby Emerson and wife, Amber of Nashville, TN; and his Cousins Asher, Reece and Maya Emerson.
His memory and legacy will continue through his family and his son Eli.
