Shirley Henry Boyd, age 79 of Dubach, Louisiana passed away at her residence on March 23, 2021. Graveside service will be Friday, March 26, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Henry Cemetery in Dubach.

Shirley was a retired special education teacher from Ruston High School. She also was a member of First Baptist Church of Dubach.

Preceding her in death are her parents; Youree and Violet Henry; husband, Haskel Boyd and her brother, Ronnie Henry.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Christopher Montana Boyd and wife Merideth of Ruston and two grandchildren: Molly Caroline Boyd and Madeline Claire Boyd: and her three sisters, Nancy Henry of Dubach, LA., Regina Warner of Dubach, LA., and Lou Dean Stroud (Raymond) of Delhi, LA, and many nieces and nephews.

I will miss her smiling face in Sunday School. We always set beside each other before COVID.

She was a wonderful lady and such a joy to be around. She will be greatly missed.
