Hope Winter Ferguson left a message on November 6, 2011:
I was saddened to hear of the passing of Sherri. Sherri was a faithful, energetic volunteer in the Temple Baptist Church Library on Wednesday evenings and during VBS for several years. She served in the library while her girls attended their programs. She was a delight to have around and her smile was a beacon welcoming folks to the library. I have fond memories of my time at Temple and especially of the sweet fellowship we enjoyed serving the Lord in the library ministry. May each of you find the peace that passes all understanding in the midst of your grief.

I'm so sorry to hear of Sherri's passing. She was a wonderful person. I knew her through the Ruston Mother's of Twin's club many years ago. I hadn't seen her in several years, and did not know of her illness and passing until now. I send love and sympathy to her family and especially to her children.

Although it has been many years since I have seen your smile, I will never forget the beautiful person that I remember. Your family and friends will greatly miss you but know that you no longer suffer. The world was truly blessed to have you in it.
