I've known Bob for 40 years. I knew him when he was a resident trooper in Lincoln Parish and he would "follow" us on calls. When he went to Detectives, we worked on several cases together over the years. I always appreciated his unique sense of humor and the fact that he knew everybody. And everybody knew him. Prayers for the family and his law enforcement family.

Janet, I was heartbroken to hear of Bob's passing. He was such a sweet man and he did so much for Union Parish. I pray for God's peace, strength, and comfort for you and the whole family, as well as his friends and his law enforcement brothers and sisters.
Bob was a role model for me ever since we were very close friends in the early 70's. We will miss him greatly. The Yellow Bronco which we put cab lights on to the Green Gran Prix. My memories will always be there. I have great memories reading gas meters with him for the Linville Gas Company to just visiting with him at the Sheriff's ofc in Ruston. Rest In Peace Bob

Buckley Family, I just want you to know just how much Bob will be missed. I have known him since the day he was born. As a baby he lived just two houses down from me in Fairbanks, La. His mother was my teacher in elementary school there. I would like to tell that my mother, Eula "Sam" Wooldridge, help to take care of Bob as baby. My prayers are with the family during this time.

I treasure those moments Bob and I spent together over the years at State Police and later when I would visit him at the Union S.O. A really fine man and one who had such a keen and enjoyable sense of humor. Bob did a lot of good and touched many people over the years.

You are in our prayers. Bob and I grew up and attended school together at Linville. Miss Novia taught me in the 5th grade. His Aunt Dollie Antley taught us in the 7th grade. We rode horses all over that part of Union Parish. Bob was a special person to me. He will be missed greatly!
