Funeral services for Sharon Lee Edney, 80, of West Monroe, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 10, 2025 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.  Bro. Michael Stravato will officiate. Visitation will be held at 1:00 P.M. until time of service.

Sharon was born on January 3, 1945 in Hooker, Oklahoma and passed away on March 4, 2025 in East Jefferson Hospital in New Orleans.  She loved her dog and watching her tv shows but most of all, Sharon loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Edney.

Sharon is survived by her seven children, Billy Barr and wife Rebecca of West Monroe, Sherry Pearson, Jennifer Kilcrease and husband Jonathan of Mayflower, AR., Jeannie Green and husband Ricky Ayres of Natchitoches, LA., Bradley Barr of West Monroe, Bobby Barr of West Monroe and Stephen Green of West Monroe; 16 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren; along with other cherished family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Barr, Caden Simms, Bobby Barr, Rocky Tharpe and Royce Cook.
