Shannon was born April 30, 1969 in Monroe and passed away on August 7, 2020 in Monroe. She was a computer programmer in the banking business. Shannon was an avid book reader and when able attended Rocky Branch Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Wilson Knighten, Sr.; sister, Melissa Ann Ramsey.
Shannon is survived by her son, Adam Michael Thomas and fiance Anita Jones; daughter, Amber Marie Thomas; mother, Elizabeth “Beth” Givens; brothers, Dusty Hamilton and wife Crystal, Thomas Wilson Knighten, Jr.; sisters, Angela Denise Eubanks, Eugenia Darlene Norrell; many other cherished family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Michael Pipes, Gavin Pipes, Austin Taylor, Jacob Ramsey, Lawrence Bourg and Courtney Humble.
