Sandra was born August 1, 1971 in Longview, Texas and passed away August 13, 2022 in West Monroe. She was preceded in death by her father Jack Loyd, Jr. and her mother, Sharon Frances Ewing. Sandra had a passion for animals. She loved her dog Champ and her cats, Cali, Lil’ Man, and Mama Kitty. Sandra was employed at Dental West as an Office Manager.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Timothy Hurt; children Daniel Lowry and wife Huong; Whitney Carswell and husband Christopher and Austin Hurt; 3 grandchildren Lincoln, Noelle and Leon; sisters Sherri Shut and husband Robert, Stormy Reed and husband Brandon; brothers Joshua Ozment and wife Catherine and John Loyd; grandparents Jack and June Loyd and Betty Loyd; aunt Jill OQwinn and husband Jimmy; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter.

Praying for the family !!! I met Mrs. Sandra at d&d cleaners. She would bring her husband's pants in to get cleaned. We became friends over the period of time. Every time she came we would chat if I wasn't busy. I just got the news from her husband and it hit me like a ton of bricks ! It broke my heart!
