I was friends with Sandy and Peanut many years ago when she and I were having our babies and were young, carefree and full of energy and excitement. Sandy had an incredible personality and expressions of feelings about life and all that it entailed. She was happy, energetic, flirtatious and the most sincere friend anyone could ever have. At my baby shower for my son Donovan Bailey in 1982, Sandy gave Donovan a stuffed Monkey which still sits on top of his gun safe today and he is 33 years old. That Monkey is probably the most cherished possession that Donovan has had over the years and Sandy has been the topic of conversation many times over the years where "Virgil" the Monkey is concerned. I love you Sandy and am so glad that God caused our paths to cross all those years ago and although we lost touch over the years, I never forgot you and all your kindness that you showed our family so many times. I will always remember you and your precious family and hold those memories close in my heart. I am excited that we will be spending ETERNITY together and we will get to catch up on our lives when we meet again in Heaven. All my love to your beautiful family, Laurie Myers Bailey Johnson

Eric, our condolences to you and your family. Although it has been many years since we have spent time together, we have never forgotten you, Sandy and the boys. Sandy was such a beautiful person, inside and out. Such a kind person and great prayer warrior. We are praying for you and the family. God bless you.

Eric:John and I thought so much of Sandy. Seems like we have known the two of you for such a long time--since you first came to Monroe Church of God. She was a prayer warrior and a blessing to many people. We are praying for you and your family.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

God has called one of His precious children home. Her faith was anchored in God and in His Word. She was such an inspiration to all who knew her.

Several months back I was rounding on her , and she started talking about her toes. I told her that my cousin had wounds on ther toes that wouldn't heal . She very sternly told me to get her to Dr. Hull (they had the same Doc) , so I did and had I not talked to your Mom my stubborn sweet cousin would have lost her toes. I also talked to her last week when I was rounding 6th , and she wanted to tell me about all of her son"s . She told me the Lord had sent me in there that day!!! She perked up and so cheerfully began to tell me about y'all and your accomplishments !!! She was so proud and kept telling me how handsome you all were!!! We also talked about church, she wanted to know where I had been visiting. Your Mother touched my heart, I actually went home and tried to call her Monday night because we didn't get to visit long that day. Your Mother was such a joy and I will miss here!!! Your in my prayers!!!
