Graveside services for Sandra Jayne Moore will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at North Hopkins Cemetery in Birthright, Texas. Rob Smith will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Monday, July 13, 2020 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ West Monroe.

Sandra was born April 17, 1945 in Winnsboro, Louisiana and passed away on July 10, 2020 in West Monroe, Louisiana. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Monroe and retired as an accountant for R. J. Moore Trucking. Sandra loved to read but most of all loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, James W. “Biggie” Moore; parents, R. J. and Dixie Jo Moore; brothers, Harold Joe Moore, Lile Michael Moore.

Sandra is survived by her son, John L. “Jay” Gathright, Jr. and wife, Wendi; sister, Brenda Moore Taylor, and husband, Ronald; sisters-in-law, Lynn Moore and Berylene Moore; three grandchildren, Avery Gathright, Adelynn Gathright, John Oliver Gathright; special companion, George Stadter; several nieces, nephews and other cherished family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice Compassus for the excellent care that Sandra received.
