Funeral services for Sally Patrick, 78, of West Monroe, Louisiana, will at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, Louisiana.  Rev. Eugene Brown, Rev. Norman Bryant and Rev. Mark Jones will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, Louisiana, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe.  Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, September 6, 2024 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, Louisiana.

Sally was born on January 7, 1946 in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away on September 4, 2024 in West Monroe, Louisiana.  Sally was a devote Christian, caring wife, fearlessly loving Mother, doting Grandmother and devoted sister. She was caregiver to hundreds of children throughout the course of nearly 40 years at her daycare where she was affectionately known as “Mrs. Sally.” Sally never met a stranger, loved everyone, and was consistently willing to help others in times of need. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy and she made sure everyone knew it. Sally was a very special lady who touched the lives of so many and she will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Audrey Balsamo, Matthew and Myrtis Balsamo;  D.C. Ritchey, Gene Ritchey, Frank Balsamo, Vincent Balsamo, James Balsamo, Tommy Balsamo, Willis Balsamo, Leo Balsamo, Edgar Balsamo, Roger Balsamo, Alan Balsamo; and son-in-law, Wade McCarty.

Sally is survived by her husband, Donnie Patrick; children, Linda McCarty, Sandy Underwood, and DJ Patrick and his wife Sarah; grandchildren, Danielle Sutherland and her husband Brandon, Kiptyn Patrick, Kellen Patrick, Kaeden Patrick, Knox Patrick; great-grandchild, Bentley Sutherland; brother, John Balsamo and his wife Becky, Steve Balsamo and his wife Candy; sisters, Ann Conville, Gloria Sims and her husband Randy; numerous nieces and nephews; along with other cherished family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Kiptyn Patrick, Kevin Patrick, Randy Balsamo, Jeff Balsamo, John Balsamo Jr.,  Zach Allen, Willis Balsamo, Jr., and J.R. Balsamo.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kellen Patrick, Kaeden Patrick, Knox Patrick, and Bentley Sutherland.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the West Monroe Guest House, Elara Hospice, and Sarah Davidson for the care of Sally during her time of need.
