Sally Crosby Hines, 101, born September 30, 1923, in Pioneer, LA, departed this earthly life peacefully with family by her side. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum. John Dobbs will officiate and Donald Reeves will deliver the Eulogy.
Sally was preceded in death by her father, W.S. Crosby and mother, Rebie Lee Pruett; husband, W.C. “Bill” Hines; brother, T.L. “Jack” Crosby; sisters, Bernadine Becke and Hilda Midkiff and grandson, Daran Hines Reeves.
She leaves behind her daughters, Linda Reeves (Terry) of Monroe, Louisiana and Susie Broach (Tom) of Virginia; grandson, Donald Reeves (Amanda) of Dallas, Texas; granddaughters, Tina Buettner (Ed) of Virginia and Robyn Broach (Mike Fejka) of Pennsylvania; great-grandchildren, Analeise Thomas, John Clay Reeves, Thomas Reeves, Taylor Reeves, Matthew Reeves, Aden Buettner, Avery Fejka and Jett Fejka; great-great-grandchildren, Adair, Jack, Oliver, Woods, Jackson, CoCo, Bennett, Wesley Kate and Evan Grace; nieces, Merida Vogt and Joey Shaver; special friend Gail Thomas of Many, Louisiana.
Sally was a wonderful wife, mother, homemaker. She took pride in both her home and her garden. Her generosity and skills in the kitchen were enjoyed by family and her many friends. Sally had a funny, kind, and loving nature and she will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Reeves, Taylor Reeves, Matthew Reeves, John Clay Reeves, Crosby Shaver, Sam Shaver, Blake Robinson, and Harrison Vogt.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Lane, Ron Shemwell, Cobb Morgan, Charles Herold, Jeff Golson and Ricky Herhevic.
Sally was a Baptist, but later in life attended Forsythe Avenue Church of Christ.
