Ruth was my sister in law for 50 years and I will miss her so. She was elegant, beautiful and witty . I have so many memories of fun times with Ruth, Don and Barry. My prayers for Barry, Joanne and the boys is for God to give them comfort and peace. May her soul rest in peace.

I was very sad to learn of Ruth's passing. She and I worked together at A E Phillips from 1996-2002 where she also taught Art to my three sons. Ruth was talented, smart, and sweet, always devoted to Barry. She will be missed by all who knew her.

I am so sorry to be seeing this. I had no idea. It breaks my heart. Two of the nicest people. She was a gracious southern lady. I always enjoyed visiting with them. My most sincere condolences to Barry and the family.

Some of my fondest memories in high school begin in my art classes, and one of my favorite teachers was Mrs. Johnson. God bless her and her family. May the peace of God be with you all.
