Alexander age 68, of Ruston will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Ruston. Officiating the service will be Rev. Leroy Skipper. Interment will follow at Mt Olive Cemetery, East in Quitman under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral home in Ruston. Mr. Alexander was born January 11, 1945 and passed away November 6, 2013. Mr. Alexander was a long time resident of Ruston and a member of Ruston Church of God. He enjoyed seeing the county through his occupation as a Truck Driver. Mr. Alexander is survived by his wife of 49 years: Linda Alexander of Ruston; son: Bruce Alexander of Ruston; siblings: Brenda Atkins and husband Jay of Ruston, Ron Alexander of Monroe and Kem Alexander and wife Mary Linda of Monroe and several other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Cordaro, Darryl Robinson, Eunice Alexander, Jr, David Blackwelder, Paul Swain, Tray Soto, Joseph Cordaro and Jeremy Alexander. Memorials may be made to Ruston Church of God 407 Vernon St, Ruston, LA 71270. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday, November 8, 2013 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.
