Graveside services for, Rubye Williams, 88, of Swartz, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes in West Monroe. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. at the graveside.

Rubye was born on January 21, 1937 in Houma, Louisiana and passed away on April 17, 2025 in Monroe. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Rubye’s favorite pastimes were cooking, working in the yard, sewing and she loved “Old Western” movies and TV shows. Rubye was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Williams; parents, Ella and Ruffin Bourg, Sr.; daughter, Mechelle Hale; son, Michael Williams; sisters, Gloria Lirette, Delores Fanguy, Mary Blum; brother, Ruffin Bourg, Jr.

Rubye is survived by her daughter, Mary Biggs and husband Billy of California, Maryland; son, Taylor Williams and wife Lennie of West Monroe; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Russell Bourg and wife Peggy of Houma, Louisiana; and many other cherished family and friends.
