Graveside services for Ruby Whitlock will be held at 3:45 P.M., Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Beulah Methodist Church Cemetery. Pastor Nathan Thornton will officiate. Visitation will be held from 2:15 until 3:00 P.M., Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ West Monroe.

Ruby was born October 28, 1939 and passed away in West Monroe on July 8, 2020. Her favorite pastime was planting rose bushes and painting, but most of all loving her family and spending time with them. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Mamie Dumas; brothers, Dallas Dumas and Joe Dumas; sisters, Olean Hilburn, Beryl Rogers, and Jane Guest.

Ruby is survived by her daughters, Simona Shannon and husband, Mike and Delores Jones and husband, Calvin; brother, J.R. Dumas and wife, Joanne; grandsons, Charles Bryant, Michael Shannon and wife, April; granddaughters, Crystal Cunningham and husband, John and Tonya Shows and husband Jonathan; six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family and friends.

Pallbearers will be John Cunningham, Jonathan Shows, Charles Bryant, Kenneth Rogers, Randall Hilburn, and Sammy Whitlock, Jr.
