Officiating the service will be Rev. Harvey Hoffman and Rev. Jeff Hurst. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Donaldson, AR under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, LA. Mrs. Walker was born October 23, 1939 and passed away April 13, 2014.Mrs. Walker was an active member of Weldon Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years, Roylynn, had a love for children and spent much of her life caring for them. Roylynn also enjoyed quilting. She was preceded in death by her husband: Albert Earl Walker; grandson: Adam Berry Cochran and infant daughter: Jennifer Jane Walker. She is survived by daughter: Debra Lynn Thornton of Haughton and Carol Ann Walker of Bernice; granddaughters: Jorja Lynn Walker, Kelsey Fountain and Bailee Hurst; brother: R.H. Thomas of Malvern; sister: Joan Thomas Runnels of Little Rock, AR; and several nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be her nephews and the Deacon Body of Weldon Baptist Church.Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to service time on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Weldon Baptist Church.
