Funeral services for Royce Earl Allbritton will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Ouachita Baptist Church under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Dr. Mike Holloway will officiate.Royce was born December 17, 1945 in Monroe, LA and passed away on September 22, 2017 in his home, surrounded by his family, following a lengthy illness. He was a member of Ouachita Baptist Church and a retired Boilermaker Superintendent. He is preceeded in death by his mother, Gloria Allbritton; father; Earl Allbritton; brother, Bobby Allbritton, Sr; and grandfather, Lee Anding.Royce is survived by his wife of 53 years, Beverly Williamson Allbritton; children, Mark and Jennifer Allbritton of West Monroe, LA and Wendy and Scott Hall of West Monroe, LA; Grandchildren; Hannah Beaudion and husband, Ryan; Brooke Evans and husband Chris; Aaron Hall; and Paige Hall; great grandchildren; Logan and Lucas Beaudion; and Keidan, Karcyn and Khonner Evans; siblings, Ronnie and Linda Allbritton, Steve and Linda Gail Allbritton, Sharon and Jimmy Boyett, Kathy and Scott Phillips and Penny and Ricky Waggoner; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.Royce was a devoted man to his family and friends. He always enjoyed working in his yard, tending to his cattle and working on projects in his barn. He was a hard-working and dedicated employee during his many years in the construction field. He had strong work ethics and a dedication to teaching those around him about the boilermaker trade.Pallbearers will be Jimmy Allbritton, Teddy Allbritton, Johnny Wilhite, Ryan Beaudion, Bubba Mullins, Jr. Mills and George Zeigler. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Wilhite and Danny Wink.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Building Fund at Ouachita Baptist Church.Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Saturday, September 23 at Ouachita Baptist Church.
