Mrs. Mary, we were sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Ronnie. We only knew him for a brief time as a neighbor, but I saw the spirit of GOD in both of you. I remember bringing you collard greens and Mr. Ronnie talking about how much his father loved them. We pray for GOD"s arms of comfort to surround you. Grady & Pat Blankinship

I was so sad to hear about Ronnie. I remember him from the time I was a little girl and he visited our family in Portsmouth, VA. My father D.L. Byrd considered him like a son. Our family has so many wonderful memories of Ronnie. He was a wonderful man and will be missed. Ann Byrd Preston

My heart goes out to the family of this sweet man. Ronnie and Dinah were very close friends of my Momma and Daddy, John and Viola Hutson. They took many trips together. I had not seen Ronnie in a long time, usually saw him at Super One Pharmacy counter. Rest in peace sweet man, you are having a joyous reunion with your friends and loved ones. Judy W Poole

I will miss you! Although you were my stepfather, I considered you a dear friend. I was horribly disappointed that I was unable to make my trip from Australia to West Monroe to see you back in July. Covid did not permit it and still doesn't. Rest in peace, dear Ronnie. ❤️
