A memorial service for Rodonnah “Donnah” Kaye Sherwood, 76, of Bastrop, Louisiana will be held Friday, February 3, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 1200 Lamy Lane, Monroe, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 10:30 A.M. until time of service. Ron Lowe will officiate.
Donnah was born on October 3, 1946 in Dexter, Missouri and passed away on January 29, 2023 in Monroe, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne “Bo” Sherwood; her parents, Flora and Wallace Garrard and brother, Wallace Garrard, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa L. Sherwood of Shreveport, LA; brother, Mike Garrard and family of Charleston, MO; sisters, Tomye Campbell and family of Cape Girardeau, MO, Sheilah Garrard and family of Tucson, AZ and Delilah Patrick and family of Festus, MO.
The family would like to thank and recognize the kindness and loving attention given to Donnah over the years by the caregivers at Cherry Ridge Skilled Nursing Facility in Bastrop, Louisiana. The family would also like to thank the CRVU at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe for their compassion and dedication in a time of great need.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Morehouse Parish Humane Society.
