I met Roberta through the Pi Phi Alum Club in Monroe. She was a loyal and devoted member of Pi Phi. We could depend on her to recommend Ruston girls for membership in Pi Phi. My condolences go out to her family.

Ed and I were deeply saddened to learn of Roberta's death. We enjoyed close friendship during our school years together. Please accept our deepest sympathy and heartfelt thoughts at this time of your sorrow.

Roberta was such a delight to be around. For several years a group of folks that included Roberta ate dinner out each Friday. If we wanted to know about the Jackson Parish gas field operations or the timber industry or Rental Property investing, and the list goes on, Roberta knew virtually everything there was to know on the subject. Clearly she was well versed in business matters. When asked about that knowledge and other "manly" matters such as pistol marksmanship, she attributed it to time spent with her dad. She and he had a close relationship of which she was most appreciative. My life has been enriched by my all-to-brief association with Roberta.

Of course, you already know I would be there if at all possible. Love, Sara

From earliest childhood I had heard stories from my parents of the Davis-Greenfriendship. I loved hearing my father's stories of his days at the Lumber Company. I remember vividly "Miss Lottie" visiting my father as he sat under the oak tree in our front yard. Also, Miss Lottie's visit and her service at his funeral in our home. (Overseeing the meal)
