Although I haven't seen the Irbys for a number of years, I can easily recall what a sweet-natured person Scotty was. I worked with Linda when they lived in Jackson, saw him from time to time and was always impressed by what a great couple they were. Such a kind person as Scotty always has many friends. He will be deeply missed by them. I'll remember his soft-spoken ways and gentle heart. God bless Linda, his sons and their families with strength and peace.

Scotty was my friend for a long time. I don't even remember when we met- I think Junior High. He was funny and smart and a man of a God. He had the sweetest parents so we can take some comfort that he is reunited with them. The ones left behind will cherish the memories. I remember playing my guitar (very badly!,,) for his parents when I was about 18 and they clapped and pretended that I was good!! Linda, Please know that you and your family will be in my prayers . May God comfort you every day.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Thank you for being such a wonderful man and allowing me the privilege of being your daughter. You (and Linda) raised two fine young men and provided a rather awesome role model for your grandsons. Thank you. You will forever be part of my heart. Remembering the good times.....with all my love~Kat
