Robert Patrick Jackson, a former resident of Shiloh, LA, went to be with his Lord on September 4, 2022.  Robert was married to his soulmate Janet Barham for what would have been 56 years on September 10, 2022.  Robert, Janet, and their daughter Dee moved from Shiloh to Shreveport for three years, then to Clemmons, NC for eight years to be close to their son Chris and his family. From there they decided to return to their roots of North Louisiana where they have lived in Hico for the past eight years.

Robert was born on December 31, 1942, in Little Rock, AR to Henry Rudolph Jackson and Alice Patrick.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Robert is survived by his wife Janet, his son Chris and wife Candy, his daughter Deitra, his grandson Christopher and wife Mary, his granddaughter Shannon and husband Zack, and his great-grandchildren Bain, Fisher, Baylee, Ariah, and Jaxson.  Also, left to honor his memory, are his sister-in-law Linda Gilleland, his sister-in-law Sheila Baines and husband Claude, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Robert will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Hico Baptist Church.  Rev. Connor Evans will officiate the service.  A visitation will begin at 9:30 A. M. until service time.  Interment will follow in Harmony Chapel Cemetery in Hico, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, LA.

Pallbearers will be Jay Martin, Mickey Murphy, Gene Foster, Gene Deason, Tommy Doss, Tracy Houck, Dakota Doss, and Wayne Parks.
