Funeral services for Robert “Robb” Carr, 54 of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Monroe. Rev. James Doughty will officiate and interment will follow at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Monday, January 3, 2022 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ West Monroe.

Robb was born on April 29, 1967 in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away on December 30, 2021 in West Monroe, Louisiana after a brief illness. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Monroe and was employed by Atmos Energy. Robb enjoyed watching his daughter and grandchildren play sports, picking and playing guitar and several musical instruments. He enjoyed being outdoors, grilling, bonfires, and working on building projects. Robb especially enjoyed bonding with his old friends, The Thinkologists and Philosofizers. They know who they are.

Robb was preceded in death by his grandparents, Emil and Nellie Burgess, Arlin and Earline Carr; father-in-law, Robert Pope; mother-in-law, Janis Herring.

Robb is survived by his wife, Jennifer Pope Carr; sons, Michael Carr and wife Whitney, Justin Carr and wife Natalie; daughter, Kalyn Carr; parents, Willie Carr and Joann Burgess Carr; sister, Lisa Sheridan and husband Bill; grandchildren, Isaiah, Trey, Layton, Emerson; many other cherished family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Mike Linder, Jeff Haddox, David Petch, Mike Farris, Kevin Elliot, Greg Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Todd Thompson, Phil Raybourn, Jay Boone, Atmos Service and Construction Employees.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital or charity of your choice.
