Somehow missed Bob's obituary in the Alexandria Town Talk online - and just saw about his death today in an article that named people who had made Cenla a better place, and named them. We were especially glad to know this...Joe managed KPAL for Bob in 1980-'81. Don't know if you will see this but wanted to let you know we cared. God Bless his family.

Sue: Please know that our prayers go with you and Bob's family during this time. I can remember all the wonderful times we had together. As you look over your life, there have been significant people who have played such a loving part in it. You and Bob were two such people in my own life. You were such a perfect match for him with such committment to each other. He was such a good man who loved his family dearly. Just know that our front door is always open if you want to journey to Alexandria.

Our contact here on earth was too brief, but I will always remember "Mr. Tall" as one of the best friends I had. He played his instrument much better than I, and, therefore was much in demand locally Alex/Pineville.. We were in the Cenla Community Band together. He was as natural as a musician as he was as a friend. I will be remembering the family in my prayers.

Mr. Bob surely made an impression on me; he always made me feel welcome and appreciated no matter what turf we were meeting on. My father used to remind me that there were a scarce few gentlemen left in this world; well Mr. Bob was surely in that category, a fine Christian gentleman. My deepest condolences to the family. May God Bless all of you.
