Robert Allen Steed

Funeral services for Robert A. Steed, 80, of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 11, 2021 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Bro. Don DeLukie officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Robert was born March 8, 1941 in Calhoun, LA and passed away June 5, 2021 in West Monroe. He retired from Graphic Packaging as a Millwright Mechanic. Robert served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. Robert was a member of Sterlington Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife Irene Steed; 3 sisters Joy Lynn Steed, Linda Marie Steed and Fannie Louise Steed.

Robert is survived by his sons, Mark Steed and wife Angela and Eric Steed and wife Skyler; grandson, Brendon Steed; sisters, Mary Francine Oldham and husband Harold and Shirley Steed Monk and husband William; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Freddie Brown, Brendon Steed, Thomas Brown, Scott Diel, Herbert Bedgood and Hank Bedgood.

Honorary pallbearer will be Patrick Brown.
