Funeral services for Robbie Smith of West Monroe will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 15, 2023 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Pastor Jeff Lee and Pastor Harold Wilmore will officiate. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Robbie was born February 21, 1946 Lillie, LA and passed away March 12, 2023 in West Monroe. She retired after working many years at restaurants in the Monroe area. Robbie was a member of New Hope Worship Center. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Smith; parents Rufus P. and Lillie V. Ponsell; 2 daughters Crystal Smith and Angela Nappier; 2 grandchildren Madalyn and Roman Bauer.
Robbie is survived by her sons Todd Ponsell, Scott Smith (Denise), Shannon Smith Sr. (Renata); daughter Brigette Bauer (Rhett); son-in-law George Nappier; sister Emma Dell Savage; sister-in-law Betty Smith; grandchildren Matthew Ponsell (Anna), Bryan Ponsell (Kassie), Christopher Smith (Ashley), Geoffrey Smith (Jerri), Dayton Smith (Katherine), Elizabeth Smith, Shannon Smith Jr., Devlin Bynum, Shyanne Frost, Kansas Johnson (Fred), Cameron Nappier and Grant Bauer; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Serving as pallbearers will be Devlin Bynum, Shannon Smith Jr., Bryan Ponsell, Matthew Ponsell, Luke Whitman, Thomas Mounsey and Michelle Lowe.
