Funeral services for Rita K. Holloway, 60, of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 27, 2021 with Rev. Rodney Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at Lapine Assembly of God Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Rita was born September 23, 1960 in Marks, Mississippi and passed away September 22, 2021 in West Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents Curtis Ellis and Helen Bailey; siblings Jerry Ellis, Diane McGurk, Rip Ellis and Chuckie Ellis; children Renee Cross and Lee Cross, Jr.; grandson Toby Austin.

Rita is survived by her son Daniel Holloway and wife Diana, and their children Christana Rowe, D.J. Holloway and Riain Holloway; son Jeff Holloway and wife Julie, and their children Mary Holloway, Tyler Holloway and Mason Holloway; brothers, John Ellis and wife Carolyn, Steve Ellis and wife Wilma, Chris Ellis and wife Brandy and Donald Ellis and wife Sheila; sister Norma Smith and husband Joey; numerous nieces and nephews.

I am so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you all. Continued prayers for everyone now and for the days and nights to come. Even though I didn't see Rita much I did talk to her. We would talk about life in general. I know it was a great family reunion when she entered the gates of heaven and seen Jesus, Aunt Jenny, Renae, my mama and the rest of our love ones that God has called home before us.
