Private family Interment will follow at later date under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.Mrs. Hamblin was born November 25, 1929 and passed away May 19, 2015.She is preceded in death by her husband, John E. Hamblin; siblings: Monty Hughes and Olive Brace.Mrs. Hamblin was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a Pink Lady at Lincoln General Hospital for many years.She is survived by her sons: Tim E. Hamblin and wife Terrie of Atlanta, TX, Matt W. Hamblin and wife Susan of Ruston, LA and John C. Hamblin also of Ruston, LA; grandchildren: Jason Hamblin, Dana Hamblin, Niki Campbell, Hayley Beaird, Nathan Hamblin and Aaron Hamblin; brother: Rockne Hughes of Enid, OK; 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other friends and family. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to service time (10:00 AM) Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. Dear Hamblin Family, I worked with Mrs. Rita for several years at Lincoln General (NLMC) with the Auxiliary. She was such a sweet soul and I loved seeing her smiling face each time she worked. She was always encouraging and supportive. She will be missed. I am very sorry that i am just hearing of her passing and could not make the services. I extend my sincere sympathies to your family.
