Richard Pesnell, age 67, passed away at his home Friday, July 5, 2024, surrounded by his family. Richard was born in Choudrant, LA on June 10, 1957, to E.O. And Myrtle McGrew Pesnell. He was a graduate of Choudrant High School. He worked as a machinist for over forty-five years. With 23 of those years at Stow-Woodward and retired with over 21 years at Voith in West Monroe.

Richard loved the great outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman his whole life. He loved to have fun playing pool, poker, and back road riding with his sons.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Marie Pesnell; his son David and his wife Yessenia; son Adam; stepdaughter Leslie LaPoint and husband Brad; Granddaughters: Mckinzie, Savannah, Alyssa, Mia, Hadley, Maddy and Harper; 2 great-granddaughters Vivi and Lolo.

He is also survived by his brothers; Kenny Pesnell; Gary and his wife Sandra; Jerry and his wife Lois; and his sister Vicky Heath and her husband Marion; And numerous nieces and nephews.
