Mr. Richard Newton Moore, age 87, of Ruston passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Moore was born March, 4, 1926 and passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dorothy M. Lawrence. Mr. Moore was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Ruston, the American Chemical Society and the Louisiana Forestry Association. He is survived by his wife: Mary Alice Moore; sons: Robert R. Moore and wife Beth of Dallas, TX; William F. Moore and wife Jane of Ocean Springs, MS; and late John David Moore; granddaughters: Sarah Nicole Moore of Dallas TX; Elizabeth Moore of Ocean Springs, MS; Amelia Rhyne Moore also of Ocean Springs, MS; Mary Elizabeth Moore Butler, and Taylor Kathleen Butler both of Anchorage, AK; grandsons: David Robert Moore of Dallas, TX; and Matthew William Aubert of France; John Augustus Moore of Ocean Springs, MS; and daughter-in-law: Penny Moore Butler also of Anchorage, AK; nieces: Rebecca L. Stenzel and husband Leroy of Bernice, LA; and Mary Jane Lane of New Orleans, LA; nephew; Paul Lawrence and wife Lee; cousins: Gretchen Till and husband Jerry of Bernice, LA; Mark Gresham and Susie Gresham Fults of TX; Carolyn Gresham of Lillie, LA; and Lewis Gaston of Baton Rouge, LA; and special cousin: Bonnie Sheridan of New Iberia, LA.
