I am so very sorry to hear about Bro. David’s passing! He was such a wonderful friend to my mother, and was with her when she passed away last year. I can only think of how happy they must be right now, Bro. David with his group of ladies, and Mama serving them all coffee and pie! Bro. David was such a blessing to so many people through his many years of service. I have no doubt he has many stars in his crown!

Linda Henry Morris left a message on December 18, 2020:
Brother David had been Pastor of Farmerville First Baptist Church where my Mother Virgie Henry and my Palmer Dean Family were members. He and Wife Pat were special family friends. My Mother Virgie had asked Brother David to preach her funeral. She told him to be sure and say good things about her. On January 7, 2002, after Mother passed away on January 4, Brother David preached a funeral service for Mother that was a very special and uplifting celebration of her life as one of God’s Children here on earth. She had to be so appreciative of him for the job he did. I will always be so grateful to him. My Prayers go out to his wife Pat and the rest of his family during this time of loss. I know that Heaven is rejoicing to be able to welcome Brother David to his Eternal Home. He was definitely one of God’s faithful Pastors who spent his call in life ministering to Jesus’ flock here on earth. I pray that our Heavenly Father holds Brother David’s loved ones extra close, especially during this time that marks the Birth of our Savior Jesus! Linda Henry Morris
