A memorial service for Rebecca “Becky” Ann James will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Trinity Methodist Church Sanctuary in Ruston. Officiating the service will be Rev. Doug de Graffenried. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

Becky was born on February 6, 1943, and went to her heavenly home on May 4, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her husband Harold “Jim” Edward James; and her parents George Edward and Beulah Grace Taylor Weiland.

Left to cherish her memory is her brother Dave Weiland and wife Mary; her daughter Christi James; her grandson Christopher Davis and wife Stacey; great grandchildren Alyssa Davis, Jaydon Davis, Gabriel Davis, and Leah Davis; as well as numerous cousins, family and friends.

My condolences to the family of Mrs. Becky, she was such a sweet and kind lady. She was always very helpful and joyous to be around, and a great co-worker never a cross word. She will be truly missed. May she rest in peace.

I am sorry for your loss. BECKY was a sweetheart and always had a big smile for people coming into the ROC. We all missed her when she retired.
