Funeral services for Reba Hayes, 88 of Calhoun, LA will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 20, 2012 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Bro. Dennis Mitchell will be officiating and assisted by Donnie Franklin. Interment will follow at Taylor Cemetery Farmerville, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mrs. Hayes loved cooking, reading and crocheting. She retired from Montgomery Ward and was a member of University Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband R.V. Hayes. Mrs. Hayes is survived by her daughter; LaJune Irwin and husband Rodney; son, Ronnie Hayes and wife Janice; grandchildren, Robin Barber and husband John, Todd Irwin and wife Misty, Tabitha Smith and husband Forrest, Sandy Woodward and husband Robbie, Mandy Magee and husband Josh; and 11 great-grandchildren, Hayes, Hayden, Helayna, Riley, Mason, Jackson, Julianne, Hannah, Katee, Gracie, and Ben. Pallbearers will be Rodney Irwin, Todd Irwin, John Barber, Hayes Barber, Hayden Barber, Robbie Woodward. Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph Malone and Gale Brantley. A special thanks to Dr. David Barnes, Dr. Larry Olinde, Dr. David Pruett, St. Francis 5th floor and Hospice Compassus. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00pm until 8:00 pm at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
