Funeral services for Reba Chadwick, 96, of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 18, 2021 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Bro. Frank Woolsey officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00 PM until service time.
Reba spent her life serving and taking care of others from friends and family to working mental institutes, to nursing homes and finally home health services. She spent her days working with a smile and joy in her heart as if she was working for God himself. Reba was a member of the West Monroe Church of God where she made the pastor and wife along with all the church members part of her family which she loved them all dearly. One of her greatest accomplishments in life was her ability to love unconditionally. She made everyone feel as if they were the most important person in the world and in her life.
Reba was born April 6, 1925 In Warren, Arkansas and passed away April 14, 2021 in West Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents Melphern and Mary Glover; husband Aubrey Chadwick; daughter-in-law Barbara Chadwick; brothers J.W. Glover, Jimmy Glover, Carl Glover, Hardy Lee Glover and Andrew Glover; sisters Dorothy Glover, Ruby Sehon, Linnie Reed, Dora Ezell and Retha Ellis.
Reba is survived by 2 children Jerry Chadwick Sr., and Joy Chadwick Lucas and husband Joel; brother, Waylon Glover; 6 grandchildren Kim Blocker and husband James, Janna Patrick and husband Kevin, Cindy Harper, Jerry Chadwick Jr., Jennifer Mathis and husband Richard and Zack Jackson and wife Stephanie; 12 great-grandchildren Michael Blocker, Jordan Patrick, Kevin Patrick, Stanley Patrick, Josh Frith, Madison Frith, Trey Chadwick, Toby Chadwick, Tyler Chadwick, Henry Jackson, Dawson Jackson and Aubrey Jackson; 10 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Ellis, Jerry Chadwick, Jr., Tyler Chadwick, Stanly Patrick, KC Patrick and Micheal Blocker.

I consider myself truly blessed to have known three of the Glover sisters...Linnie and Retha Mae each had unique personalities but Reba and I had a longer time to form a bond that will always remain so very precious in my heart....a gracious lady with "southern hospitality" that also had a mischievious side that I enjoyed very much. I nicknamed her "Priss". We shared several meals together that always ended at her place with a freshly prepared dessert, and coffee and perusing through the newest cookbook. She helped me and supported me greatly on my journey of serving the Lord. I miss her wit, her smile, her loving words, and her powerful example of Christianity. Til we meet again, "Priss"!
