I'm sorry to hear of Uncle Ray's passing! I also regret not knowing in time to be there but please know he indeed holds a special place in my heart. When daddy JD passed away Uncle Ray was the 1st person that made me smile about something. One thing when I see this picture is they all had the same wonderful smile & gift of making others laugh and smile during difficult times. Always joking and like my dad, loved their music! Well guess what... they are singing together once again in that heavenly choir! With much Love & Prayers,

MR. WYLES WAS A COMICAL MAN. HE ALWAYS PICKED ON THE KIDS WHO WERE LEARNING TO DRIVE. HE WOULD STOP THEM WITH HIS LIGHTS ON AND LAUGH AT US WHEN HE COULD SEE US SWEATING BULLETS. I ALWAYS LIKED HIM. MAY GOD BLESS HIM AND HIS FAMILY. NELWYN FOX AND SYBIL FOX TODD.

I'll always remember Uncle Ray waking up after working the graveyard shift with WMPD, sitting on the side of his bed, strumming and singing. Probably the first person I'd ever seen that played a guitar. We, as children would get in line while he would let us punch him in the stomach. I was impressed, I thought all cops were Superman. Uncle Ray will be missed, but leaves behind lots of good memories and a great family.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Uncle Ray. The most dashing handsome man I knew as a small child next to my Daddy Lamar Wyles who looked much like Uncle Ray. All those Wyles men were and are so handsome, charming and gifted by God with an amazing natural musical talent . Many loving memories of that flashing smile and laugh !

So sorry for your loss. As a childhood friend of Tamara's, I always admired their close relationship . He was always so happy and loving with all of us girlfriends. What a blessing you all had in a father!
