Memorial service for Randy Brandon, 67, of West Monroe will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 18, 2021 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Rev. Danny Chance officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
Randy passed from this life on September 13, 2021 in Monroe, LA. He was born to Charles Ray and Norma Jane Brandon on April 28, 1954 in Zwolle, LA. He was married to the love of his life, Judy Ann Griffin Brandon for 48 years. His first priority in life was his family. Randy was the very definition of what a husband, father and grandfather should be. His greatest joy in life was his grandchildren whether it was bringing them to practice, attending extracurricular functions, or cooking a meal, he was always there without fail. He also had many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
Randy retired from Entergy in Baton Rouge, Louisiana as head fireman with 46 years of service. He was an avid outdoors men. If you knew him as Randy, Pop, crazy paw paw, or uncle Randy, he could always make you laugh. Randy was preceded in death by his father Charles Ray Brandon.
Randy is survived by his wife of 48 years Judy Griffin Brandon; 2 children, Stephen Brandon (Beth) and Randy Brandon, Jr.; five grandchildren, Jacob Brandon, Nathan Brandon, Colston Brandon, Tyler Berry, Katie Hendrix; mother, Norma Jane Brandon; brothers; Gary Brandon (Paula) and Mark Brandon; 4 great-grandchildren, Blakely Gilmore, Thomas Hendrix, Nora Hendrix and Tinsley Berry and many nieces, nephews and other family members too numerous to list.
