Funeral Services for Henry Pierce Ramsey, 88, of West Monroe, will be held 3:30 P.M., Tuesday, December 3, 2024 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Visitation will begin at 3:00 P.M. Dave Norris, Jr. will officiate. A private family burial was held at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home.

Pierce was born February 25, 1936 in Jonesboro, Louisiana and passed away November 30, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Spillers Ramsey and Henry Bryan Ramsey. Pierce was retired from Louisiana Power and Light and served his country in the Louisiana National Guard.

Pierce is survived by his wife of 63 years, Donna Thompson Ramsey; daughters, Kalisa “KK” Ramsey and Kristy Ramsey Mason; son, Hank Ramsey and wife Christie; grandchildren, Mason Ramsey, Kendall Ramsey, Dylan Mason Tanna Mason; brothers, Rudy Ramsey, Dwight Ramsey; sister in law, Tinker Van Zile and husband Charles; numerous nieces and nephews; and a multitude of great friends whom he considered family, Dave Norris, the late Biddy Norris, Cindy Stutts and Paul Baldwin, Dave Norris Jr., Chris Norris, Stuart and Anna Ruth Hill, Denny and Pam Garner, Mary Delancy and Richard Patterson.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
