Funeral services for Phyllis Kinney, 73, will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Faith Chapel Pentecostal Church in West Monroe, Louisiana. Officiating will be Pastor J. Nowlin.  Interment will follow at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until time of service.

Phyllis Neeley Kinney was born on August 19, 1951, in Little Rock, Arkansas and left this earth on December 15, 2024, at her home in Calhoun, Louisiana.  Phyllis was a beloved wife, mother, and devoted follower of God.  Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions, and offering comfort to those around her.  Phyllis was passionate about all things arts and craft.  She spent countless hours creating beautiful pieces that brought joy to her family and friends.  Her creativity and love for her art was evident in everything she did.   She will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her faith, and her artistic talents. Phyllis is preceded in death by her father, Samuel Neeley; mother, Bobbie Graves; and sister, Gloria Rutherford.

Phyllis is survived by her loving husband, Pearl “JR” Wright Kinney; sons, James Wilcox and wife Christin, Adam Wilcox, Brian Wilcox and wife Brittany; grandchildren, Hunter Peacock, Cody Dool, Violet Wilcox, Skylar Doerr, Makayla Hale, and Larissa Camper; along with other cherished family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Wilcox, Adam Wilcox, Hunter Peacock, Cody Dool, Danny Campbell, and Riley Campbell.  Honorary pallbearer will be James Wilcox.
