Graveside services for Peggy Joyce Magouirk Wimberley, 88, will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens Masoleum in West Monroe, Louisiana.  Bro. Ricky Baker will officiate and Bro. Artie Beebe assisting.  Visitation will be held prior to services from 12:30 P.M. to 1:00 P.M.

Peggy was born on February 27, 1936, in Joinerville, Texas, and passed away on November 19, 2024, in West Monroe.  She was a creative mixed media artist.  Peggy loved gardening and was a bird enthusiast.  She was also a football fanatic and a gourmet cook.  Peggy was a member of Highland Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank U. “Sonny” Wimberley; son, James Kevin Wimberley; mother, Lucille Ware Mitchell; father, Arel Magouirk; brothers, Ralph Ernest Magouirk and James “Jimmy” Magouirk.

Peggy is survived by son, William Arel “Bill” Wimberley (Maggie); son, Frank Ulmer Wimberley, Jr. (Susan); son, Michael Steven “Steve” Wimberley (Janie); daughter, Lori Dickens (Kenny); son, Bryan Mitchell Wimberley (Rhonda); sister, Dorothy Rodgers; brother, Charles Magouirk (Marty); sister-in-law, Linda Magouirk; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; along with other cherished family and friends.

Pallbearers will be William “Bill” Wimberley, Frank Wimberley, Jr., Bryan Wimberley, Robert Wimberley, Kenny Dickens, and Chris Plybon.

Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Wimberley, Charles Magouirk, Matt Layfield and Jamie Dickens.
