We met Paul when we started entering Temple sanctuary at the door where he greeted and handed out bulletins each Sunday. Always a warm smile, a friendly greeting, maybe a tease or joke. Just a NICE GUY! His wife Joan was tiny, always neat and elegant and every bit as personable. We ended up sitting on the same pew during the years and they became special friends. One thing different about them was that they were interested in YOU as well. No doubt, after Paul greeted our Lord, there was a host of family and friends to welcome him to Heaven! Separated but for a while....

Joan,it's impossible to put together words to describe how deeply sorry I am for the loss of your husband and best friend Paul . What a void I would have in my life ifI had never met Paul and shared his friendship and Christian leadership. It's times like this that we can't view our loss but blessed with our gains for knowig him. Both of you were a light in my life and were there when I needed help. I thank God for sending his sevant, Paul, to deliver his message.

My heart goes out to Paul's family at this time. Joan and Patrick, You will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead. Without a doubt, Paul loved his family.... very much! I had the pleasure of knowing Paul as we worked together for many wonderful years at Davison. My fondest memory of Paul was hearing him peck away on a very old typewriter in his office and I would get so tickled hearing him "peck away" typing on this old typewriter... I told him several times to "slow down" as he was pecking away on this very out dated typewriter. My comments to him would make him laugh. I also remember, he had a treasure in his office of the most beautiful duck collection, that his brother hand carved. Paul was very proud of his ducks his brother had made him. However, Paul's biggest treasure that he possessed was his love from the Lord. He is now safe in the arms of Jesus. Revelation 21:4
