Funeral services for Patty Wilkinson will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at New Chapel Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Marty Black will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until time of service on Tuesday, October 23, 2018.Patty was born October 22, 1946 in Jacksonville, FL and passed away in West Monroe, LA on October 19, 2018. She was a longtime member of New Chapel Hill Baptist Church and was owner of Mid State Paper. Patty is preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Rosemary Johnson.Patty is survived by her husband of 17 years, Doug Wilkinson; her step-children, Kathy Sims and husband, Tommy and Mickey Wilkinson and wife, Wendy; brother, Carl Johnson; cousin, Holly Klein and husband Kevin; step-grandchildren, Emma and Will Wilkinson; nieces, Shannon and Kristin.Pallbearers will be the men of New Chapel Hill Baptist Church.A special thank you to Dr. Coy Gammage and The Oncology Clinic staff.Please make memorials in memory of Patty to the American Cancer Society, 1761 N 19th Street, Monroe, LA 71201.

We met every Monday at Oncology Treatment,I was with a friend getting treatment .Always admired Mr.&Mrs.Wilkinson devotion to each other and his wit.I saw her spiraling down that old cancer road and knew her suffering would end soon.RIP Ms.Patty.
