Graveside services for Patsy Nell Trichell will be at 12:45 P.M., Monday, September 14, 2020 at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ West Monroe, Louisiana. Bro. Neil Trichell will officiate. Visitation will take place at 11:00 am until 12:00 noon on Monday, September 14, 2020, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ West Monroe.
Patsy was born March 3, 1941 in Transylvania, Louisiana, to Virgil and Minnie Collins. She was reunited with them on September 11, 2020, in Monroe, Louisiana, when she left this home for her Heavenly home. Patsy is survived by her husband, Joseph Trichell, Sr; her children (Joey) Joseph Trichell, Jr. (Felicia),Neil Trichell (Susan), Lori Trichell McLemore, Willie Trichell (Renae); grandchildren, Trey Trichell, Jacob Trichell, Justin Golson (Sydney), Emily Dennis (Stephen), Reid Golson (Maggie), Katie Tremaine (Richard), Jordan Clay (Will), Mallorie Trichell, Cole Trichell, Anna Claire Trichell, and Ella Trichell; great grandchildren, Vayda Mae, Deuce, Everett, Alaina, Evelyn, Olivia, Nolan, Collier, and Lucy Jane; her brothers David Collins (Carol) and Jerry Collins (Ferdie), her sister Jean Stearns (Chuck), and a host of treasured nephews, nieces, and special friends. Preceding Patsy in death are her parents, her brother Billy Collins, and her sister Carolyn Smith.
Patsy was best known for her love for her family, her humor and her cooking. She always enjoyed having a full house of family and friends. There are not enough words to describe her presence or the special bond she had with each one of her family members. Her memory will continue to leave a lasting mark on the lives of those who loved her, especially for those who called her Momma or Mamaw. The love of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren goes unparalleled.
Pallbearers include Chris Adams, Jacob Trichell, Steve Williams, Richard Tremaine, Stephen Dennis, and Cole Trichell. Honorary Pallbearers include David Hicks, Justin Golson, and Reid Golson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Patsy Trichell’s honor and name.
