Funeral Service for Patsy Ann Pesnell Bullock, age 82, of Ruston, will be Monday, January 30, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Longstraw Baptist Church in Choudrant, LA. Rev. Larry Emory will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Longstraw Cemetery in Choudrant under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.

A Visitation will be Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Ruston, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M.

Patsy was born on August 26, 1940, to Annie Lou and Leon Pesnell, and passed from this life on January 23, 2023. She was a lifelong member of Longstraw Baptist Church, where she loved to sing in the choir. Patsy was a graduate of Ruston High School, and received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and Masters Degree from Louisiana Tech University. Patsy worked for the Lincoln Parish School System for most of her career, teaching math at Glen View Junior High. She retired as the Principal of Cypress Springs Elementary in 1998. Her love for children continued through her work with the TASC Program.

Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, Annie Lou and Leon Pesnell, and her husband John Kemp Bullock.

She is survived by her children: Kimberly Tremblay and husband Adam, Johnelle LaBine and husband Michael Levesque, and John Pat Bullock; grandchildren Sydney LaBine, Shelby LaBine, John Mason Tremblay, Chloe Tremblay, and Henry Bullock; siblings, Carolyn Pesson, Alice Smalling and husband Troy, Leon Pesnell, Jr. and wife Kay, and James “Jimmy” Pesnell and wife Belinda; and numerous nieces and nephews.
