Orlando Graydon Fitzgerald was born Saturday, July 17, 1937 in Bernice, Louisiana and went home to be with his Lord and Savior at 1:40 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 2018. He passed in Ruston, Louisiana, in his daughter home, surrounded by his family. Graydon dedicated 60 years of his life to managing Lindsey/Bernice Warehouses. He loved baseball, hunting, and fishing at Lindsey Pond with family and friends. His greatest joys in life were his family and spoiling his grandbabies and great-grandbabies. Graydon dedicated his life to the Lord and now finds peace in His arms.Graydon is survived by his wife of 58 years, Scarlett Fitzgerald; his children, Darryl Fitzgerald and wife Laura, Tessa Fitzgerald, Melony Kelly and husband Terry, and Joanie Fitzgerald; his brothers James Fitzgerald, and Ronnie Fitzgerald and wife Judy; sister Retha Farley and husband Wayne; 12 grandchildren – Casey, Anna, Kerry, Dusty, Dustin, Brandon, Kyle, Cody, Olivia, Leyton, Daniel, and Hope; and 12 great-grandchildren – Lily, Gilliana, Elly, Caleb, Jacob, Isaac, Natalie, Lil Graydon, Noah, Hailyn, Stetson and Ashlyn. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Garrett and Floy Fitzgerald, daughter Sharon Hux, granddaughter Lacey Hux, nephew Todd Farley, sister-in-law Betty Fitzgerald, and his best friend, Danny Doster.Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, at Pisgah Baptist Church in Bernice, Louisiana. Celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, at Pisgah Baptist Church in Bernice, Louisiana, with Jeff Hurst officiating. Interment will follow at Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
