Funeral services for Ophelia Ross Salisbury, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 6, 2014 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Rev. Jerry Salisbury, her son, will be officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Mrs. Salisbury was born November 14, 1924 in Baskin, LA and passed away June 3, 2014 in West Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Annie and John Ross; her husband, Elton Salisbury; sisters, Bessie Anderson and Lessie McDanell.Mrs. Salisbury worked for the Ouachita Parish School Board at Boley School in the cafeteria. She was a member of Walnut Grove Methodist Church.Mrs. Salisbury is survived by her 2 sons: Jerry Salisbury and wife, Debra; and Rickey Salisbury; grandson, Jason Salisbury and wife, Sherie; granddaughter, Julie Salisbury; and 1 great-grandson, Carter Salisbury; several nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
